STEP 2:
Application submits completed forms.

Secretariat notifies application receipt of application.
STEP 4:
Conduct due diligience on application.
STEP 5:
Application tabled at Executive Comittee Meeting.
STEP 6:
Respond to Applicant on decision
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
(a) a good track record in business operations and conduct,
(b) strong financial commitment and
(c) a significant local value-added component in the products and services offered.
Membership is open to Companies, institutions and organisations incorporated and/or registered in Brunei, who have made
and will continue to make a positive contribution to the Infocom Industry.
Members are required to comply with the code of practice. The representative of the member organisation, preferably must
be a person who is at the most senior executive level of the organisation, has attained eighteen (18) years of age, who on
the date of the application has resided in Brunei for a period of not less than 6 months, who supports the objectives of the Society.
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES & FEE
The membership of the Society shall be open to companies and organisations incorporated and/or registered in Brunei. Members are required to comply with the code of practice. Membership is open to organisations who subscribe to the objectives of the Society. 5.2
All categories of members other than the Patron and Honorary members shall pay the prescribed fees. These fees will be published by the Treasurer from time to time but will always be subject to prior approval of the ExCo

CORPORATE |
Corporate and Multi National Corporation Members Multinational corporations with a Brunei branch or having a representative office in Brunei, that have at least two years of operations in Brunei whose core business is in the Infocom Industry, complying with the above criteria, and with a proven track record, are eligible to apply for Corporate Membership.
Such Multinational corporations may apply to the Executive Council through the Secretary for Corporate Membership of the Society and upon acceptance by the Executive Council shall pay the appropriate Fees as stipulated under the Rules and Regulations of the Constitution. Corporate Member will be entitled to voting rights in the Society. For the avoidance of doubt, a local company whose core business is in the Infocom Industry, with a majority of foreign ownership shall be considered under Corporate Member.

ORDINARY |
Ordinary Member Local companies and organisations incorporated and/or registered in Brunei that have at least two years of operations in Brunei whose core business is in the Infocom Industry, complying with the above criteria, and with a proven track record, are eligible to apply for Ordinary Membership.
Such companies and organisations may apply to the Executive Council through the Secretary for Ordinary Membership of the Society and upon acceptance by the Executive Council shall pay the appropriate fee as stipulated under the Rules and Regulations of the Constitution. They shall pay the annual subscription. Ordinary Member will be entitled to voting rights in the Society.

ASSOCIATE |
Associate Member Companies, organisations and institutions incorporated and/or registered in Brunei with less than two years of operations, or companies, organisations and institutions incorporated and/or registered in Brunei whose core business is not in the Infocom Industry, but have an interest in or dependence on Infocom, may at the discretion of the Executive Council be admitted as Associate Member of the Society on payment of the prescribed Fees.
Associate Members shall have no voting rights in the Society. Any Associate Member may apply to be Ordinary Member upon reaching two years of operations provided that such Associate Member’s core business by then is in the Infocom Industry

HONORARY |
Any distinguished individuals, in the opinion of the Society, who has either directly or indirectly contributed to the above-mentioned objectives, may be elected as an Honorary Member subject to the approval of the Executive Council. The Honorary Member shall have no voting rights in the Society
